How the Process Works

You begin by contacting us

We then…..

Discuss your requirement

Provide details of available Associates with the expertise and experience to meet your requirements

Arrange for you to meet appropriate Associates

Support you in choosing from available candidates

Prepare a mandate which describes in detail what you expect the Enable East Associate to deliver and how you wish an interim to work (this will help you complete the HMRC employment status tool)

You then…..

Choose the Associate(s)

Use the HMRC Employment Status Tool to determine the employment status

We then…..

If the outcome of the HMRC Employment Status Tool determines that the Associate should be treated as employed

Employ the Associate via an honorary contract with Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT)
Second the Associate to your organisation
Pay using our payroll arrangements
Make required deductions for income tax and national insurance at source
Ensure all employment legislation is followed

If the outcome of the HMRC Employment Status Tool determines that the associate should be treated as self-employed

Issue Associate with a contract for service
Manage invoices and payments
Manage and monitor timesheets
Check for evidence of tax compliance

Our Associates can also be engaged by private and non-statutory agencies. For non public sector agencies we will complete the HMRC Employment Status Tool to determine whether the intermediaries legislation applies to the assignment and advise you accordingly.

We will provide you with a copy of the outcome, along with the mandate, for you to review.
