Interested in becoming an Associate with us?

Enable East is innovative, flexible, forward thinking and unique. We are an independent business unit that operates as part of an NHS Foundation Trust. A genuine, not for profit organisation offering cost effective support, services and training.

We employ a small number of core staff and, at any one time, have more than 50 of our associates working on assignments with customers. Annually, we work on more than a hundred pieces of commissioned work from a diverse range of customers including NHS and local government commissioners and provider trusts, regional and national statutory agencies, charities, private sector companies and major grant funding organisations.

Why Enable East?

Enable East has a refreshingly different approach to that of more traditional management consultancies, interim staffing agencies and national improvements agencies. Our customers tell us what it is that they need and we tell them how we can help get it done.

What roles could I be working on?

This could include everything from interim project management support to perhaps helping bids and tenders, delivering against some of our major training contracts or providing flexible services such as facilitation or event management. The main business areas we have worked in include

We offer our customers 3 types of support:

Delivery – Enable East has an unbeatable track record of project delivery. We offer flexible support and a safe pair of hands to deliver a customer’s project to their exact specifications. We do this by using our unique blend of credible experience, in depth expertise and our common sense, ‘can do’ attitude. All traits we look for within an Associate.

Capability – Enable East has more than 100 approved Associates with a broad range of expertise so we are able to provide flexible interim support to customers in almost any location. Whether the customer need help managing a project, writing a bid, delivering training, managing a procurement process or supporting service developments – Enable East can help.

Services – Enable East offer a range of specialist services to help customers to get things done including print, graphic design, event management services, media services and bespoke training.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a diverse range of Associates who can combine not only credible experience working within the public sector, who are our main customers, but also have the kind of personal skills, values and attitude that make people effective at getting things done within that environment, together with the flexibility and availability we need to deliver against our customers’ requirements. In our view, it is not just what you deliver, but also how you deliver it.

Many of our Associates are either qualified or are currently working towards, PRINCE2 or MSP and/or have previous experience in various clinical or business settings and have a track record of getting things done in many different sector organisations.

At this point we are not looking for any IT Associates.
